Welcome to GuruCool Kids Play School

Establishing a loving, safe, and happy learning environment was our main goal. Identifying a critical void in our city's educational system, we endeavored to create a school that addressed the unique requirements of our neighborhood. Even though there were already other Gurucool Kids Play Schools in the neighborhood, we saw that a large number of them adhered to teaching philosophies and practices that were more suited for older kids.

We use a play-based approach at GuruCool Kids Play School, which includes a variety of activities like pretend play, group projects, field excursions, puppetry, thematic learning, games, music, unstructured playtime, gardening, and more.

Being sensitive to the particular needs of kids and their parents has helped us develop in both quantity and scope, as well as influencing our mission. As students move through the educational process, we constantly work to adapt our teaching strategies to meet their changing needs.

Morning Circle Time: The day kicks off with a lively circle time, where children gather together for greetings, songs, rhymes, and discussions about the day’s activities.
Language and Literacy Activities: Engaging sessions where children are introduced to a variety of stories from Indian folklore, fairy tales, and educational literature. Fun exercises to help children become familiar with the sounds of letters and recognize them in words. Activities to expand their vocabulary, including word games, flashcards, and interactive learning.
Numeracy and Math Concepts: Through hands-on activities, children learn to count, recognize numbers, and understand basic math concepts. Exploring shapes and patterns through games and creative exercises.
Creative Arts and Crafts: Encouraging self-expression and creativity through various art mediums. Hands-on activities that foster fine motor skills and imaginative thinking.
Music and Movement: Engaging musical sessions to introduce children to Indian songs, rhythms, and dance forms.
Cultural Celebrations and Festivals: Special activities and celebrations organized to familiarize children with major Indian festivals like Diwali, Holi, and Eid.
Nature Exploration Walks and Science: Outdoor adventures to explore the natural world, encouraging curiosity and a love for the environment. Hands-on experiments to introduce basic scientific concepts in an interactive and age-appropriate manner.
Physical Activity and Gross Motor Skills: Structured playtime to develop physical coordination, balance, and agility through activities like running, jumping, and climbing.
Sensory Play: Engaging experiences that stimulate the senses, encouraging exploration and discovery.
Dramatic Play and Pretend Play: Encouraging imaginative play through scenarios like a pretend kitchen, doctor’s clinic, or market.

Recognizing the vital role of continuity in a young child’s life, we place a high value on consistency of care. That’s why our entire team consists exclusively of full-time educators.

We also have a roster of dedicated permanent float educators, ensuring that we never rely on “casual” or “agency” staff. This guarantees that your child will always have the comfort of knowing and being familiar with every educator in our service!

About Us
